Description We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Havertown, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in managing financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and providing essential support to the management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with expertise in QuickBooks and a passion for financial accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Record and manage all financial transactions, including income, expenses, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and handle communication with vendors.
• Reconcile daily deposits, collections, and production reports across multiple locations.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with external accounting firms to assist with quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain organized documentation for audits.
• Monitor internal financial controls and recommend improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate financial updates and insights to leadership and respond to inquiries.
• Work closely with office managers to align financial practices with operational goals.
• Train team members on financial protocols and procedures as needed. Requirements
• At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or financial management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles.
• Skilled in using accounting software systems, including Microsoft Excel and Great Plains.
• Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and preparing financial statements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
