Description We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Naperville, Illinois. This role focuses on estate planning and requires someone who is detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of working directly with clients. The ideal candidate will bring excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of legal documents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, living wills, and powers of attorney.

• Assist with the retitling of assets into trust names to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Format legal documents to meet high standards and maintain consistency.

• Collaborate with clients directly, delivering exceptional service and clear communication.

• Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity.

• Utilize case management software, such as Smokeball or similar tools, to manage client matters effectively.

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all tasks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of legal documentation.

• Apply knowledge of estate planning processes to support attorneys and meet client needs. Requirements • Proven experience working with estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

• Familiarity with retitling assets into trust names and understanding the associated processes.

• Proficiency in using case management software, such as Smokeball or equivalent systems.

• Strong skills in formatting legal documents to meet high standards.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with a client-focused approach.

• High level of trustworthiness when handling sensitive financial information.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Minimum of two years of experience in estate planning or a related legal field.
