• Staff Accountant

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Bonita Springs, FL)


    Description

    We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Bonita Springs, Florida. In this role, you will play an integral part in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills and a passion for ensuring financial accuracy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

    • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.

    • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial activities.

    • Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation for all accounting transactions.

    • Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and preparing necessary reports.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and ensure financial compliance.

    • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as required by management.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.

    • Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining general ledger accuracy.

    • Strong understanding of journal entries and month-end close processes.

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
