Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our clients team in Merced County. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting various accounting functions. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain proper accounting records.

• Oversee accrual and intercompany accounting processes.

• Analyze general ledger activity to identify variances and ensure compliance.

• Reconcile trial balance accounts to ensure financial accuracy.

• Generate detailed reports - external auditors, tax teams, and government entities.

• Manage special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements • Strong knowledge of general ledger and accrual accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a self-starter attitude.

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.
