• Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer/Analyst

    Description

    We are seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer/Analyst to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with diverse stakeholders, drive data-driven decision-making, and contribute to impactful business initiatives.

    What You'll Do:

    + Plan and execute advanced data analytics projects with strategic impact.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to complete projects and drive insights.

    + Utilize SQL, Snowflake, Sigma, Python, SSIS, and/or Business Objects to extract, mine, and automate data from internal systems.

    + Implement Kimball methodology and develop data feeds for enterprise reporting.

    + Design and develop Power BI dashboards and paginated reports to present business trends.

    + Build and nurture relationships with clients by developing tailored reports and data solutions.

    + Lead quantitative research projects, from business problem identification to model development and communication of results.

    + Analyze financial and operational systems, interpret data, and develop actionable insights for leadership teams.

    + Participate in key company initiatives, including product/system development, process improvements, and M& A due diligence.

    + Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring and supporting colleagues as needed.

    + Maintain strong partnerships with business teams to ensure high utilization of reporting services.

    + Present regular updates and analysis to leadership, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements.

    Requirements

    What You Bring:

    Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

    Experience:

    + Minimum 6 years in databases, data warehousing, data mining, or analytics.

    + At least 3 years working with SQL, Snowflake, and/or Oracle.

    + At least 3 years using advanced quantitative and analytical problem-solving.

    + 2+ years reporting experience with tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Sigma, and/or MicroStrategy.

    + Additional skills with SSIS, Python, Kafka, and Informer are a plus.

    Skills:

    + Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.

    + Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

    + Comfortable asking for assistance and offering support to teammates.
