Robert Half is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation attorney to join an ongoing legal research initiative.

Project information:

+ Start: June 2025

+ Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension

+ Pay: $40/hour

+ Location: Remote

+ Hours: 15-20 hours per week (flexible)

Responsibilities include:

Our client is looking for a CA, NY, MA, TX barred Commercial Litigation attorney with at least 5 years’ experience. The attorney will create “how-to” practice notes, forms, checklists, and legal analysis on a range of procedural topics. Work will include drafting new content with guidance based on case law, statutes, regulations, custom, and personal experience.

Requirements

+ •Law degree from an accredited law school

+ Member, in good standing, of the CA, NY, MA, TX

+ At least five years of experience litigating in federal and/or state court

+ Experience in all phases of discovery including drafting discovery devices and expert reports, taking depositions, and discovery related motion practice including motions to compel, trial preparation, pre- and post-trial remedy motions, including injunctions, motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and other motions

+ Excellent writing, editing, and legal research skills

+ Comfortable working in Microsoft Word with track changes and conducting online research

+ Effective written and oral communication skills

+ Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines

+ Organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage tasks effectively
