Description We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the service industry, supporting event coordination and logistics management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong focus on organization, cross-functional collaboration, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and managing both internal and external events, including coordinating travel arrangements and securing room blocks.
• Collaborate with hotels, vendors, and service providers to ensure seamless event logistics.
• Work closely with finance teams to reconcile payments, manage budgets, and track expenses for events.
• Collect and analyze event data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for process improvement.
• Develop and support scalable processes for event planning and execution, ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize tools and platforms for event management, reporting, and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination and information flow.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to bring innovative solutions to event planning.
• Support audits and reviews by compiling and organizing event-related data. Requirements • Proficiency in business systems, including ERP solutions and CRM tools.
• Hands-on experience with logistics platforms such as Cargowise.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets for collaboration and reporting.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage travel arrangements, including international travel.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience in billing functions and budget reconciliation.
