Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal with a strong background in immigration law to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves a combination of legal and administrative tasks, requiring excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach. The position is based in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete immigration forms with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Assemble and organize documentation packages for submission to the appropriate authorities.

• Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information and ensure all required materials are collected.

• Handle the preparation and submission of H-1B visa applications, including managing deadlines.

• Perform clerical tasks such as copying, typing, and maintaining organized case files.

• Coordinate with external services, including managing document deliveries to FedEx.

• Ensure compliance with legal and procedural standards throughout all case preparations.

• Assist in tracking and updating case statuses, keeping stakeholders informed of progress. Requirements • Proven experience in immigration law, with a focus on preparing and submitting legal forms.

• Proficiency in typing and handling administrative tasks efficiently.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously.

• Excellent communication abilities to interact with clients and gather information effectively.

• Attention to detail to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

• Familiarity with H-1B visa application processes and other immigration-related procedures.

• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a contract role.
