Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is a Contract-to-long-term position within the manufacturing industry, offering an excellent opportunity to grow your career. In this role, you will assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as general accounting tasks, while contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Process vendor invoices and disbursement filings, ensuring accurate accounts payable matching and organization.

+ Manage daily invoices, credit processing, and cash receipt applications to support accounts receivable operations.

+ Assist with general ledger account reconciliations and month-end closings, contributing to timely financial reporting.

+ Participate in special projects and perform additional accounting-related duties as assigned.

+ Assist with the beginning stages of the collections process.

+ Maintain accurate leave balances for contracted employees.

+ Control the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable process.

Requirements • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.

• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with processing invoices, purchase orders, and filing in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong organizational skills to handle order entry and invoice data efficiently.

• Willingness to learn and grow in an accounting role, including entry-level candidates.
