Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join a thriving manufacturing company in Westbrook, Maine. This role combines financial analysis expertise with manufacturing cost accounting and general ledger responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates with a strong background in both accounting and financial planning. Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making within the manufacturing sector.

• Perform cost accounting tasks to evaluate production costs and improve operational efficiencies.

• Assist with month-end close processes, including general ledger reconciliations and adjustments.

• Develop and manage financial planning models to support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and actionable financial insights.

• Maintain and enhance advanced Excel models to streamline reporting and analysis.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in financial reporting.

• Prepare periodic financial reports and presentations for senior management.

• Identify opportunities for cost savings and financial process improvements within the organization. Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting within the manufacturing industry.

• Proficiency in cost accounting principles and practices.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and month-end close procedures.

• Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and forecasting.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.

• Familiarity with manufacturing operations and related financial processes.
