Title: Manufacturing - Stainless Steel Sink Technician - 2nd shift

Olsten is assisting a local client recruiting for a Sink Technician job in Lumberton, NC. This is a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. Working as a Sink Maker you will manufacture stainless steel sinks using blueprints, BOM (bill of material), and various measuring devices.

Responsibilities for this Manufacturing - Sink Technician will include:

+ Operating stroke sand machine to blend in seam weld to specification.

+ Set up and operates rim-grinder machine which removes channel lumps from rims of bowls and at stroking table uses stroking block to smooth rough edges from rims of bowls.

+ Perform set-up and operation of buffing equipment.

+ Visually inspect bowls for defects, scratches, or projection lumps. Uses air gun to buff top of bowl to remove scratches and burns.

+ Package finished sink per BOM (bill of material) and blueprint specifications.

+ Use hand-held scanner to record production.

+ Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

+ Ability to read a tape measure proficiently

+ High dexterity

+ Mechanical Skills

These are Second shift positions. 3:30 pm-12:00 am Monday- Friday. Some weekend may be required based on business need.

Pay for this position is $15.00/hr. plus $1.00 shift differential. Overtime as needed. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity.

**Pay Details:** $15.00 per hour
