    Adecco is seeking a dedicated **Customer Care Specialist** with a background in **freight forwarding and sea logistics** to support one of our global logistics clients. This is a **customer-facing role within a freight forwarding environment** , not a general customer service or call center position.

     

    Only applicants with recent freight forwarding or logistics experience (especially ocean freight) will be considered.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Serve as a key point of contact for Sea Logistics customers, handling inquiries, updates, and issue resolution.

    + Accurately enter and manage customer orders and documentation in internal systems.

    + Monitor shipment progress and communicate proactively about any delays or exceptions.

    + Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics execution.

    + Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.

    + Maintain updated customer data and preferences in operational systems.

    + Support the onboarding of new clients and tailor services to meet specific logistics requirements.

    + Generate and refine internal reports related to customer activity and performance.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team-based activities.

    Qualifications:

    + **2–3+ years of experience in international freight forwarding** , ideally in ocean freight (Sea Logistics).

    + Familiarity with shipping documentation (e.g., HBL, MBL, Incoterms) and logistics systems.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    + Team-oriented, customer-focused, and solution-driven attitude.

    + Experience with logistics platforms (e.g., CargoWise, SAP TM, or similar) is a plus.

    **Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour
