Filing Clerk

Adecco is partnering with a client in the Hudson Valley and are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized **Filing Clerk** to join our team. The Filing Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date file systems, organizing physical and digital records, retrieving documents as needed, and supporting general administrative tasks. This role is essential to ensuring that our records are stored efficiently and are easily accessible to authorized personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Sort, organize, and file documents (paper and electronic) according to established filing systems
+ Retrieve files and documents upon request by staff or management
+ Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
+ Perform regular audits to ensure files are correctly labeled and up to date
+ Create new files and records as needed
+ Scan, copy, and upload documents to internal databases
+ Label and archive inactive files
+ Assist with data entry and other clerical tasks as assigned
+ Ensure compliance with company record-keeping policies and legal requirements
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Proven experience as a filing clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, file management systems)
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
+ Ability to lift boxes of files and perform light physical tasks as needed
Working Conditions:
+ Office environment
+ May require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods
**Pay Details:** $21.00 per hour
