Adecco is hiring for a 2nd shift Stockroom Material Handler for a company in Syracuse, NY.
Hours are Monday-Thursday 3:00pm-12:30am
Friday 9:00am-1:00pm
Payrate - $16.64- $19.25
Must be flexible to work varied schedule to cover, as needed.
Job Duties:
- Performs handling and moving of a variety of materials throughout the plant to insure the accurate and timely flow of components or finished goods.
- Maintain written records of material movement when required for maintenance of inventory and other applicable records.
- Use required material handling equipment (ie: forklift, powered lifts, carts, etc.) to move parts or products within the plant.
- Use computer to complete job tasks stockroom transactions
- Follow standard work practices while performing job duties
- Interact with all department in the factory
- Ensure work area is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Wear personal protective equipment as required and follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Assist Assembly Department and Shipping Department with material handling when necessary.
- Participate in continuous improvement events
- Work flexible hours to cover stockroom needs when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Previous experience in a stockroom/warehouse position. 2+ years desired.
- Ability to lift containers greater than 60 lbs. unassisted
- Stand for long periods, 4 hours,
- Ability to read and write legibly in English
- Ability to perform simple mathematics and scale counting.
- Attend forklift training and become qualified.
- Work from ladders
- Ability to accurately enter information into computer system
**Pay Details:** $16.64 to $19.25 per hour
