As a **Finance Manager FP&A** here at Honeywell, you'll play a crucial role in budgeting, reporting, cost control, and financial modeling, while also providing valuable insights and ensuring financial compliance. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the organization and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

You will report directly to our Sr. Director, ESS BAP and you will work out of our Charlotte, NC on a hybrid work schedule (meaning at least 3 days per week in office).

In this role, your work will directly influence our ability to make informed financial decisions, optimize resources, and drive sustainable growth. By effectively managing budgets, ensuring financial compliance, and providing strategic insights, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial future of our organization. Your commitment to financial excellence will help us navigate challenges, identify opportunities, and maintain a strong and stable financial position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with department heads to ensure budgets align with corporate goals and monitor financial performance against budget targets by developing and executing the annual budgets and financial forecasts.

• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Manage the company's cash flow, including monitoring daily cash balances, optimizing working capital, and overseeing short-term investment strategies.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and decision-making.

• Analyze scenarios and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.

• Ensure financial operations adhere to local and international regulations and standards.

• Act as a financial advisor to department heads and senior management, providing insights and recommendations on financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation.

• Lead, mentor, develop and grow a dynamic, global team of finance professionals.

YOU MUST HAVE

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in progressive finance roles

• Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.

• Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly valued.
