    As a Logistics Analyst I at Honeywell, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the supply chain processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall logistics performance.

     

    You will report directly to our Logistics Supervisor, and you will work out of our Rosemont, IL location on an on-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations by receiving new product/components and inducting repair units into our ERP system (SAP). Additionally, you will be responsible for working with our suppliers to clear the receiving and induction trouble shelves to drive operational excellence.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Arrange inbound and outbound transportation of UOP products based on requirements of quotes, SAP customer purchase orders, letters of credit and other documents.

    + Accountable for transportation of orders from the point of complete order entry onward including-

    + Knowledge of all transportation modes: sea, air, road and rail, LCL, FCL & Special Equipment.

    + Compliance with hazardous shipping regulation under IATA, IMO and DOT.

    + Compliance with U.S. import and export regulations and specific country requirements of each destination.

    + Preparations of international and domestic transportation documentation for movement of product such as export declarations, shipper’s letter of instruction and inland bill of lading.

    + Selection of carriers and coordination with Honeywell or customer carriers based on service level, pricing and timing requirements.

    + Create deliverable line items on sales order for products/equipment to be shipped.

    + Audit and approve payment of freight bills and coordinate with Accounts Payable for processing of freight invoices.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement and costsaving opportunities

    + Coordinating transportation methods and selecting the most efficient and costeffective options

    + Negotiating contracts with carriers and logistics service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions

    + Implementing strategies to streamline logistics operations and minimize transportation costs

    + Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth operations and ontime deliveries

    + Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of distribution processes

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Minimum of 3 years of domestic and international freight experience

    + Must have a High School diploma or GED

    + 3+ years of customer service experience

    + Proficiency in data analysis tools and software

    + Customs experience
