JOB SUMMARY
As a Senior Quality Developer Analyst within the Quality Assurance team, you will leverage Siemens Polarion ALM, a leading Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software. Your responsibilities will include architecting, designing, programming, and customizing Astronics’ Polarion implementation to ensure compliance with our internal processes and procedures, as well as industry standards for systems, hardware, and software development.
We are expanding our use of Polarion and seek a dynamic and creative individual to join our team and address this new challenge. You will collaborate closely with management and engineering teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities both within Polarion and our overall processes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Design and implement Polarion ALM solutions tailored to Astronics’ needs.
+ Configure and customize Polarion workflows, templates, and reports.
+ Integrate Polarion with other tools and systems in Astronics’.
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
+ Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Polarion instances.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for Polarion architectures and processes.
+ Train and mentor team members on Polarion best practices.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards in Polarion implementations.
+ Ensure permissions schema for Polarion complies Astronics’ policies.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Polarion.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience and skills.
+ Demonstrates competency with the duties and responsibilities of the position, typically earned with 5~8 years of direct experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong understanding of ALM concepts and software development lifecycle.
+ Expertise in Polarion administration, configuration, and customization.
+ Experience in resolving performance issues in production Polarion environment.
+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Velocity, and XML
+ Experience with integrating Polarion with other tools (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins, Git, Subversion).
+ Knowledge of requirements management, test management, and traceability.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience with other ALM tools (e.g., IBM Rational, HP ALM) is preferred.
+ Experience in the aerospace, automotive or medical device industries are a plus.
EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
+ As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.
+ An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment background screen and drug test which includes screening for the use of cannabis.
**Base salary range is $94,208 - $141,313 per year.** Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered.
