    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This dual-role position requires a strong understanding of AP and AR processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing invoice processing, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting front-desk financial operations.

    Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable (AP) Duties

    + Process high-volume invoices, including 1-line invoices up to 10 pages in length.

    + Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.

    + Reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.

    + Ensure timely and accurate entry of vendor invoices into the accounting system.

    + Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries.

    + Assist with month-end closing and reporting related to AP.

    Accounts Receivable (AR) Duties

    + Provide backup coverage at the registration desk during breaks and absences.

    + Audit and resolve patient credit balance reports.

    + Investigate and resolve outstanding collections and insurance pending claims.

    + Conduct random financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

    + Collaborate with billing and insurance teams to streamline AR processes.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum 2 years of recent experience in both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

    + Proficiency in 3-way matching and invoice-to-PO reconciliation.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Experience with keying and matching invoices to purchase orders.

    + Ability to analyze reports and resolve discrepancies independently.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience in a healthcare or medical billing environment.

    + Familiarity with financial auditing procedures.

    + Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
