Description
Role Overview:
The Pharmacy Technician supports clinical operations and sterile compounding of infusion therapies under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. This position plays a key role in preparing and managing medications used in complex care treatments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile IV and infused medications in compliance with regulatory standards
Apply knowledge of USP 797, USP 800, and state pharmacy board regulations
Coordinate medication shipments and patient care schedules
Document and communicate clinical and logistical information across departments
Accurately enter patient and prescription data into pharmacy systems
Maintain cleanroom standards and perform routine cleaning procedures
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Manage inventory, receive shipments, and prepare medication kits for delivery
Support formulary compliance and participate in inventory audits
Obtain and maintain necessary state licensure or registration

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
