    The pharmacy technician will perform pharmacy-related tasks in a fast-paced environment under the supervision of a pharmacist. They will provide pharmaceutical services to patients and long-term care residents in a manner that maximizes quality and patient safety, ensuring all prescriptions are filled without errors in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform pharmacy-related tasks under the supervision of a pharmacist.

    + Provide pharmaceutical services to patients and long-term care residents.

    + Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately and promptly.

    + Conduct order entry and filling prescriptions.

    + Handle data entry efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.

    + Exceptional problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

    + Excellent attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PTCB certification is not required but is nice to have.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a long-term care facility with working hours from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays. It offers a great opportunity to enter a specialty pharmacy with room for growth.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
