The main function of a Construction Manager is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

+ Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.

+ Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

+ Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

+ Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

+ Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.

+ Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

+ PMI or PMP certification preferred.

+ 5-7 years of experience in the data center, Primavera P6 scheduling, construction safety, mechanical and electrical construction.

+ Mechanical or electrical certifications preferred.

+ Data center experience is beneficial.

+ Commissioner skills for data center construction are advantageous.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with an estimated 40 hours per week. There may be an additional 10 hours required on Saturday, though not every Saturday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $58.00/hr.
