    Job Title: Service Technician

    Job Description

    As a Service Technician, you will travel to various customer sites within the Dayton area to perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations for industrial and commercial companies. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems, as well as installing new racking, dock doors, and conveyors.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including chains, bearings, motors, drive systems, sprockets, and gears.

    + Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.

    + Install new racking, dock doors, and conveyors.

    + Conduct low voltage wiring and control panel troubleshooting up to 220v.

    + Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair work.

    + Undertake welding and fabrication tasks as necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical troubleshooting and repairing panels and other 220v components.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and repair.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least 1 year of experience with 480v electrical systems.

    + At least 1 year of experience in welding or fabrication.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment will vary depending on the customer site, with most facilities being non-climate controlled. You will collaborate closely with Maintenance Managers and other managers within the plant.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Dayton, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
