Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Production Worker, where you will play an essential role in packing and loading candy and baked goods, as well as manually producing popped corn products. You will ensure the smooth operation of our production processes while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

+ Fully comply with facility Good Manufacturing Practices and all safety and quality procedures.

+ Pack and load candy and baked goods.

+ Manually produce popped corn products with stove top operation.

+ Manage ingredients to support cooking operations.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Assist in the Production and Packaging departments as a Production Team Member.

+ Participate in daily cleaning schedules and inventory cycle counts.

+ Train and perform as a backup for certain Lead functions.

+ Participate in co-manufacturing or co-packaging products for other companies.

+ Perform specialty cleaning duties.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to understand company procedures and directions from upper management.

+ Ability to read, understand, and follow written recipes.

+ Professional attitude under pressure.

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

+ Sense of urgency in work.

+ Ability to work overtime periodically.

+ High school diploma or GED preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in production, general labor, general production, food handling.

+ Ability to stand for long periods.

+ Ability to work in a hot environment.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Capability to handle repetitive tasks.

+ Cooking or baking experience is preferred.

Work in a clean kitchen area where brittle cooking involves standing over a stove with hot pots and pans. Our facility provides a supportive and collaborative environment with minimal overtime required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
