    Job Title: Inventory Clerk

    Job Description

    The Inventory Clerk is responsible for executing essential inventory management tasks to maintain accurate stock levels within a warehouse or storage facility. Key duties include counting and recording inventory, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, and updating inventory records in relevant systems. The role also involves organizing and shelving stock, verifying shipment contents against documentation, and reporting any discrepancies.

    Responsibilities

    + Count and record inventory accurately.

    + Process incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently.

    + Update inventory records in database or system.

    + Organize and shelve stock appropriately.

    + Verify shipment contents against documentation.

    + Report any discrepancies in inventory or shipments.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Excel, including Reporting, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting.

    + High School Diploma or Vocational Degree required; some college preferred.

    + 1 year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Previous experience in inventory control.

    + Excellent organizational skills.

    + Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend basic instructions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Moderate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Solid understanding of 5S principles.

    + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups, if statements).

    + Materials handling and receiving experience.

    + Ability to manage multiple types of inventories in various locations.

    + Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments is a plus.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
