Job Overview:

A global pipeline inspection company that uses inspection tools to test the integrity of various pipelines is looking for an entry-level traveling Field Technician. In this position, you’ll travel nationally to assist in the inspection of pipelines using in-line inspection devices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the build, testing, and setup of the ILI (in-line inspection) tool and support equipment under the direction of the Field Superintendent

• Assist and provide support for the field execution and post-run reports of the in-line inspection

• Inspect for internal and external corrosion or other damage

• Assists in prepping, launching, and receiving of in-line inspection tools

• Cleans, refurbishes, and maintains the in-line inspection tool after the completion of a job

• Responsible for the transportation of the in-line inspection tool and equipment to the job site

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform the physical demands of the job

• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of products

• Works well within a team and has good communication skills

Work Environment:

• Operate in varying weather conditions, hot or cold

• Travel nationally

• Construction work environment

Career Advancement:

• Field Technician I: required 12 months of experience as a trainee, complete the training program during this timeframe, and pass the final exam. Potential Earnings: $60K

• Superintendent II: required 12 months of experience as Field Technician I, complete a training program during this timeframe, and pass the final exam. Potential Earnings: $70K

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
