• **Job Type:** Contract to Hire | Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 6 AM - 4 PM | No Weekend Work

• **Start Date:** Immediately

We are currently hiring structured cable technicians and data center helpers to join our team at the Microsoft Data Center in West Des Moines, Iowa.

•** **Your Role & Responsibilities:

• **Install, organize, and maintain structured cabling systems** within the data center.

• **Run, pull, and terminate cables** to support network infrastructure.

• **Work both indoors and outdoors** , ensuring proper cable routing and management.

• **Utilize hand and power tools** to complete installations efficiently.

• **Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams** for precise cable placement.

•** **Pay Structure:

Entry starts at **$20/hour** , with increases based on experience:

+ **$20/hour** – **Entry-level** (2+ years of construction experience)

+ **$21/hour** – **3-4 years of construction experience**

+ **$22 - $24/hour** – **1-4 years of data center experience** _(more experience grants higher starting wage)_

•** **Requirements:

•️ **Previous structured cabling experience preferred** or **general construction experience**

•️ **Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation** .

•️ **Clean record dating back 7 years** and ability to pass a drug screening.

•️ **Comfortable working at heights** and in various environments.

•️ **Ability to use hand and power tools** and learn technical blueprints.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
