Join a dynamic team as a Program Manager in a production plant dedicated to manufacturing aluminum alloy wheels for the automotive industry. Oversee design and development projects from feasibility and concept through to mass production, ensuring successful delivery to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket consumers.
Responsibilities
+ Manage 5-10 development programs in various stages simultaneously.
+ Communicate effectively with customer designers, engineers, and internal teams.
+ Conduct meetings and connect with internal quality, production engineering, and other groups.
+ Serve as the liaison between the company and customers through in-person visits, email, and phone.
+ Understand GD&T principles and interpret CAD drawings.
+ Administrate and make technical decisions in the oversight of design and development processes.
+ Ensure product meets customer standards by collaborating with lab and quality engineering department.
+ Maintain organization and documentation using internal systems.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSME or BSMET).
+ 1 to 5 years of experience managing customer programs.
+ Proficiency in GD&T principles.
+ Experience with CAD software and ability to interpret drawings.
+ Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
+ Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams cross-functionally.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with aluminum.
+ Bilingual in Japanese.
Work Environment
Experience an impressive work environment with an open office setting, featuring white floors, green plants, and company product decorating the walls. Spend about 85-90% of the time in this environment, with the remainder on the manufacturing floor and warehouse. The position is a first shift Monday to Friday role with standard hours from 8am to 4-5pm, offering some flexibility based on reliability and work completion. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $38.46/hr.
