• Compounding Pharmacy Technician

    Job Title: Compounding Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description

     

    As a Pharmacy Technician, you will facilitate the delivery of medications to patients and their families in hospital and clinic settings, while also coordinating payments and insurance verifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in preparing and filling medication orders and medication carts.

    + Process prescriptions and distribute medication to patients.

    + Perform quality assurance inspections and maintain stock levels in all areas of the hospital.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in pharmacy and retail pharmacy operations.

    + Experience in medication refills and data entry.

    + Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.

    + Ability to perform dosage calculations and communicate effectively with all levels of hospital personnel.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    + Experience with pharmacy computer systems, automated dispensing cabinet software, and technical equipment.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the Internet.

    + Customer service and communication skills.

    + Ability to walk around the hospital for extended periods.

    Work Environment

    You will work within a large health system's Infusion Pharmacy. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
