Job Title: Engineering TechnicianJob Description

The engineering team is seeking highly motivated entry-level engineering technicians to support accelerated product durability testing.

Responsibilities

+ Execute tests by setting up, performing inspections, conducting maintenance, and retrofitting equipment.

+ Document and report issues identified during tests or inspections.

+ Collaborate with engineers to resolve mechanical and electrical issues discovered during testing.

+ Support engineers in instrumentation and data acquisition.

+ Assist and learn from other technicians and engineers.

+ Assemble and wire test fixtures.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in mechanical systems and hand tools.

+ Experience with vehicle technology and automotive systems.

+ Understanding of Ohm's law and other fundamental electrical principles.

+ Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a lab environment located at Kato, with your desk also situated in the lab. The facility is undergoing some construction, but you will be working next to running chambers and various equipment. The company offers a long-term career path and encourages technicians to ask questions and pursue personal growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
