Description

Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and work practices.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees, including new hire orientations and refresher courses.

Maintain safety records, including training logs, inspection reports, and incident documentation.

Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and participate in safety committee meetings.

Promote a culture of safety through communication, recognition programs, and employee engagement.

Assist in emergency response planning and drills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in (industry).

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
