• QA/QC Technician

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Inspect raw materials as necessary.

    + Verify raw material CoAs are received, and the test results conform to listed specifications.

    + Test internally made batches to product-specific specifications.

    + Make minor adjustments to correct out-of-specification batches. Coordinate with QC Manager and/or Chemists on larger or novel batch adjustments.

    + Manage storage and disposition of product andretain samples generated in the facility.

    + Collaborate with R&D chemists on new product development and offset raw material considerations.

    + Maintain a clean, orderly lab utilizing 5S principles.

    + Conduct Internal and Process Audits as needed.

    + Develop a detailed understanding of the facility’s manufacturing environment.

    + Promote, support, and adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality-related policies and procedures in the facility.

    SKILLS, AND** **COMPENTECES:

    + Previous quality control testing/equivalent lab experience preferred.

    + Previous experience in chemical or adhesive manufacturing facility preferred.

    + Ability to work overtime (Saturdays) required. (*Typical Saturday hours are 6am – 11am butoccasionally a full shiftmay be necessary (6am – 2:30pm).

    + Understanding of basic mathematical operations.addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division.

    + Ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions.

    + Ability to perform multiple tests simultaneously and to internal standards.

    + Ability to communicate effectively through email / text, and in-person.

    + Ability to enter inspection data into a collection database.

    + Ability to work on your feet for stretches of time and do light lifting (~10 lbs.)required.

    + Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
