**Job Title:** Business Processes Senior Consultant
**Location:** Newtown Square, PA

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to establish and manage long-term engagement relations between the customer and SAP along all LACE phases.
Expectations and Tasks:
Address the specifics of each LACE phase to identify innovation potential, plan the solution design transformation, provide advisory and safeguard the execution operation. Improve the customer satisfaction, foster the successful adoption of SAP Solutions and protect the SAP Brand. Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned projects and drives the collaboration with customers. Establishes a strong living network across different SAP units. Takes over positioning, explanation, and scoping tasks for non-standard services. Understands the customer business goals and build the engagement and service plan for projects along our standard journey and focus packages. Supports the execution E2E transformation projects from innovation identification, handover to run, up to the extension of existing solutions. Provides architectural advices for standard solutions. Resolves critical customer situations, production downs and escalations. Work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility. Takes over lead role in delivery or development projects. Contributes to the industrialization of service procedure and SAP products with own creative and innovative ideas using latest technology. Leads through advanced technical or business skills for complete technology or industry area. Act as an advisor to the customer’s IT-department with strong technology and operations focus. Drive knowledge management and innovation activities based on experiences with customers. Collaborate and co-innovate with respective development teams. Analyze performance and availability of complex SAP solutions such as S/4HANA, HANA and other SAP NetWeaver based systems. Focus is on customer systems within the SAP Premium Engagement Support Segment (SAP MaxAttention / SAP Active Embedded). Identify issues and bottlenecks and come up with solutions.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
+ SAP NetWeaver system Administration and Performance Tuning;
+ SAP HANA administration, root cause analysis, technical performance optimization and troubleshooting skills;
+ SAP HANA expertise in definition of a technical architecture, set-up of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR), definition of a backup strategy;
+ SAP HANA installations, major upgrades, and maintenance tasks such as patching;
+ Linux Operating Systems including parameter settings, patching, optimization, troubleshooting;
+ SQL statement performance optimization for SAP HANA; and
+ OS/DB migration to SAP HANA using SAP proprietary tools such as the Database Migration Option (DMO).
**Travel:** Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.

**Compensation Range Transparency:** The annual base salary range for this position is $125,611 - $143,910. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611 - $159,900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
