Purpose and Objective:
Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a Developer at our Bellevue, WA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
Expectations and Tasks:
Analyze and solve issues in existing and new code. Provide application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans. Support design activities, including requirement analysis and design documentation. Support implementation activities, including implementation, testing, and integration. Extend, modify, or adapt existing designs or involved in the development of new sub-systems. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. As Scrum Master in the LEAN context, responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Act as 'servant-leader' for the product owner and the development team. Facilitate Scrum events on request or as required. Coach the development team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the development team's progress.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:
+ Java;
+ Gradle;
+ Maven;
+ Tools and lifecycle of micro-services using containerization including SpringBoot;
+ Database technologies including SQL;
+ Storage concepts and technology including NoSQL/SQL databases;
+ Event processing and messaging as well as logging, auditing, and metrics including ElasticSearch/Kibana;
+ AWS architecture;
+ Application monitoring and code instrumentation including logging, log4j, and JMX;
+ Code build/deploy including Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure including AWS or similar; and
+ Agile development including Scrum, continuous integration, and DevOps concepts including automated deployments, monitoring/alerting, and quality deliverables.

**Compensation Range Transparency:** The annual base salary range for this position is $132,330 - $166,500. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $132,330 - $185,000. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
