**Job Title:** Business Processes Principal Consultant

**Location:** Plano, TX

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Principal Consultant at our Plano, TX location to evaluate and recommend SAP finance architectural solutions to customers and focus on the short and long-term strategic business benefits of the solution.

Expectations and Tasks:

Utilize SAP Financial Accounting and Managerial Accounting solutions to act as a trusted client advisor; Understand high-level business requirements and translate them into SAP Finance solutions; Define industry typical business processes and map customer processes to the related process levels; Design the finance solution architecture based on customer process requirements, applications, and system landscapes; Develop high-level process roadmaps in conjunction with team members including the Project Manager. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of the-art methodologies and standards; Drives deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs; Deliver customer workshops and trainings; Support in partner led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success; Drive the creation of templates, common practices and supporting service delivery artifacts in order to optimize business processes; Mentor business process consultants.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or a related field of study and seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or a related field of study and five years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve five years in the following:

+ SAP S/4HANA Finance;

+ General Ledger Accounting;

+ Accounts Payable and Receivable;

+ Asset Accounting;

+ Parallel Accounting and Ledgers;

+ Cash Management and Banks; and

+ Cost and Profit Center Accounting.

Experience must also involve four years in each of the following:

+ SAP Central Finance; and

+ Credit Management

**Travel:** Position does require up to 60% domestic travel to various, unanticipated client sites nationwide to implement customer procured solutions.

**Compensation Range Transparency:** The annual base salary range for this position is $143,666 - $235,280. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $173,000 - $294,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
