    Overview

     

    $24-26/hour

     

    The Facilities Field Staff is responsible for assisting and performing repairs and improvements to the agency-owned real estate.

     

    Minimum Education Required

     

    High School Diploma/GED

     

    Additional Shift Details

     

    Monday through Friday

    Responsibilities

    + Perform repairs and maintenance duties for all the agency sites as assigned.

    + Perform walk-thru and repairs, as well as attend various inspections as needed forthe agency’s sites.

    + Maintain company assigned vehicle and ensure routine maintenance is scheduled as needed.

    + Follow all work order procedures including accessing work orders through database and updating work orders upon completion.

    + Responsible for purchasing necessary supplies and materials for repairs as needed.

    + Responsible for maintaining proper upkeep of company tools and equipment.

    + Attends and actively participates in supervision and team meetings.

    + Ensure that clients are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates’ Human Rights policy.

    + Adhere to all principles related to the Advocates Way

    + Perform all duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required and minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance and general repairs

    + Must possess ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

    + Strongly prefer that a candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations

    + Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    + Must be able to perform with minimal supervision

    + Must possess ability to use office equipment such as scanner, digital camera, copier, printer, fax and phone systems.

    + Must have strong computer skills

    + Must possess ability to read a map and be willing to travel.

    + Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Must possess ability to work independently or as part of team.

    + Must possess ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

    + Must hold a valid drivers’ license.
