SALARY RANGE
$33,760.00 - $37,136.00 $1,298.46 - $ 1,428.31 Biweekly

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position involves independent production work utilizing a personal computer within the Tacachale Life Safety unit. The incumbent dedicates a significant portion of their time to inputting and retrieving data, which is essential for tracking purposes. Effective data management is crucial for preparing a variety of detailed reports, as well as conducting thorough analyses aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the services provided.
Review work orders for accuracy and completeness prior to entering into the computer database for the Life Safety department. Inputs, edits and retrieves work orders from the computer and upon completion, prints out the work order to distribute to the appropriate employee. Run scheduled preventative maintenance work orders monthly and distribute appropriately.
Purchasing: Contact vendor(s) and obtain multiple quotes, submitting quotes, creating purchase requisitions. Input purchase requisitions into MFMP (My Florida Marketplace), tracking purchases and activity on all blanket purchase requests. Submit invoices to Accounting for payment once project(s) are completed. Ensure office supplies are kept current and ordered before supplies are depleted.
Update and maintain all books for regulatory review including, but not limited to: Sprinkler Inspection Book, Fire Alarm Testing Book, Generator Load Bank and Annual Placard Book, Generator Battery Test Inspections, Generator Fuel Testing Book, Generator weekly and monthly inspection book, TEOP (Tacachale Emergency Operation Plan), Fire Drill Book, Fire Door Inspection Book, Fire Hydrant Annual Inspection Book, Food Service Hood Inspection book, and Food Service Roll Up Door inspection book.
Prepares all personnel documents for the Life Safety Department and ensures the paperwork is submitted in a timely manner. Responsible for the advertisement for all vacant positions. Prepares 357 forms for all OPS employees. Prepares position descriptions, classification action request forms, and maintains the Table of Organization as required for this department.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Must have Florida Driver’s License.
+ Knowledge of basic office procedures and practices.
+ Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
+ Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position frequently, but also occasionally move about within the campus of Tacachale to access other staff, buildings, and materials.
+ Must be able to speak and hear clearly.
+ Must be able to lift, carry, bend, crouch, reach overhead, stand, and walk on an occasional basis.
+ Must have manual dexterity (i.e., use of fingers, hands, and arms).
+ Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.

DIRECT DEPOSIT PROGRAM
As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Rather than receiving a paper paycheck, your funds will be deposited directly into your account at your financial institution. This will be accomplished by Electronic Funds Transfer. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.
BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
