The Senior Documentation Specialist will manage the documentation and closing process for Equipment Finance transactions in support of Relationship Managers. This position will interface with clients and equipment manufacturers/vendors for all matters related to due diligence, documentation, perfection, closing, and funding. This position is a key member of the deal team, working collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues to close transactions and exceed customer expectations.
+ Effectively manages and prioritizes work queues for new lease/loan transactions.
+ Ensure lease documents are executed, returned, and processed within a timely manner.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
+ Proactively manages transactions, balancing multiple internal and external stakeholders' needs.
+ Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal team members and stakeholders to execute work and fulfill service delivery expectations.
+ Reviews documents to verify that forms are correctly completed.
+ Ensure that the business' equipment liens and ownership are perfected correctly.
+ Orders and maintains UCC Searches, obtaining any UCC Subordinations as needed to ensure first priority security interest in equipment is obtained.
+ Confirms wire instructions provided by the vendor or customer are correct and accurate.
+ Works with clients to obtain equipment invoices, proof of payment, and evidence of insurance.
+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.
+ Detail oriented with ability to multitask.
+ Strong organizational skills are a must.
+ Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
+ Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems.
+ **Qualifications:**
+ Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – In-depth.
+ Time management skills – In-depth.
+ Prioritization skills – In-depth.
+ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
+ Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.

Salary:
$50,400.00 - $93,600.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
