What you need to be successful
To thrive as a Production Control Manager at Fairbanks Scales, candidates must possess a robust skill set tailored for our dynamic manufacturing environment. Five or more years of direct experience in scheduling, planning, purchasing, and inventory management. Familiarity with steel fabrication or piece part manufacturing will be a significant advantage. Proficiency in ERP or MRP systems is critical, allowing you to navigate and optimize our processes efficiently. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with a strong attention to detail, enabling them to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are vital for fostering collaboration among teams and delivering exceptional customer service. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring seamless operations in our fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
+ Minimum of five years of directly related experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office porducts, specifically, Excel and Outlook
+ Strong working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
+ Strong use of critical thinking skills for analysis, problem solving, and a strong attention to detail
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong ability to organize & prioritize work, even in the face of shifting priorities, requiring communication with multiple parties
+ Strong Time Management
+ Excellent customer service skills to build and support effective business relationships
