Location : Merrimack, NH
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Playwright to join our agile development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, test automation, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
+ Define and curate test cases at the right level of detail, ensuring acceptance criteria align with real business value.
+ Implement and manage test automation frameworks, demonstrating proficiency and passion in coding.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage across unit, behavioral, component, and end-to-end (E2E) tests.
+ Continuously improve the suite of tests by eliminating duplication and identifying gaps.
+ Work in an Agile software delivery environment, utilizing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools.
+ Apply object-oriented programming principles to develop robust and maintainable test automation code.
+ Utilize Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) approaches to deliver high-quality software.
+ Understand and apply architecture principles of distributed systems to define effective test strategies at both component and system levels.
Required Skills
+ 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on delivering software using agile development practices.
+ Expertise in defining and curating test cases, ensuring they align with business value.
+ Proficient in test automation frameworks, with hands-on experience in Playwright.
+ Deep knowledge of the SDLC process and various test types (unit, behavioral, component, E2E).
+ Experience working in a fast-paced Agile software development environment.
+ Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and engineering excellence.
+ Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
+ Experience with ATDD and BDD methodologies.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
