Join UPMC Hamot as a full-time Administrative Assistant – Senior, where your skills will help drive excellence in patient care and operational support. In this role, there is the opportunity to -
+ Drafts presentations, meeting minutes, and departmental correspondence based on supervisor input.
+ Coordinates logistics for conferences and departmental events, including venues, catering, and materials.
+ Maintains supervisor’s calendar by scheduling meetings, prioritizing engagements, and ensuring efficient time management.
+ Prepares travel arrangements, including booking accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.
+ Monitors and maintains budgetary and accounting records, including processing expense reports.
+ Generates reports by analyzing complex data sets and identifying trends to support decision-making.
+ Reviews and recommends improvements to administrative processes to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Supports departmental functions by providing comprehensive administrative assistance to individuals or teams.
Required
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 5 years' experience in an increasingly responsible administrative support role.
+ Ability to perform advanced functions in word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and database software.
+ Ability to use applicable MS Suite products.
+ Advanced knowledge of business processes and procedures.
+ Working knowledge of accounting and financial principles and functions.
+ Ability to analyze data.
+ Ability to use discretion and independent judgment.
Preferred
+ Billing experience
