Brief Job Overview
The **Senior Software Engineer** will be responsible for application software design, development, systems maintenance, modification, and documentation. Use structured analysis to perform a full life cycle development for complex applications. Create customer facing applications. Design code review and post-production support for applications based upon specific business needs. Maintain compliance with sound standards and best practices during all phases of software development life cycle. Collaborate with teams and provide technical solutions to support long-term technology strategy. Design and present technical solutions and architecture to stakeholders. Create prototypes, refine solutions, and establish proof of concept. Assess and repair production issues. Support production and ongoing maintenance for custom programs that interface with third party vendors and other internal systems.

Who is USP Looking For?
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and six (6) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive, related work experience.
Requires six (6) years of experience with the following:
+ Configuring CI/CD pipelines or automating builds;
+ Enterprise Full software development life cycle;
+ Designing enterprise applications using front end technologies using HTML, CSS and Java Script;
+ Software Development using Agile frameworks such as: Scrum;
+ Designing web applicating using J2EE or Spring framework;
+ Utilizing design patterns and open-source software;
+ Developing complex SQL queries using tools such as Oracle or MySQL relational databases to analyze large data sets;
+ Testing frameworks like Junit, SonarQube, JaCoCo, JMock, Mockito, TestNG, Jasmine, or Selenium and JMeter; and
+ Configuring Web applications servers on Linux or Cloud Infrastructure.

Compensation
Base Salary Range: USD $141,000.00 – $160,050.00 annually.
Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role.
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate’s skill set, experience, qualifications, equity, and other job-related reasons.
