Job Description

**AECOM** is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated **Senior Project Manager- Rail Systems** to be based in New York, New York area working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group.

Job responsibilities include:

+ Perform project management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area

+ Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies

+ Responsible for administering the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement

+ Manage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets

+ Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects

+ Ability to coordinate closely with clients, contractors and project partners

+ Project types includes Design-Build, Development of Bridging Documents and Design-Bid-Build

+ Respond to client issued RFQ and RFPs, provide guidance to marketing for Transit Rail pursuits

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

+ BA/BS + 10 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ Professional Engineer License

+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Requirements :

+ 15 Years of Experience with NY metro rail agencies including MTA, PA/NY/NJ and NJ Transit

+ 10 Years of Experience in Design Project Management Role

+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills

+ Experience with coordinating systems design

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $225,000.00 - $275,000.00.
