    Summer School Math Teacher

    Anticipated Work Location/Hours:

    High School, Mon - Thurs 7:45 AM- 12:30 PM (ending or starting time may vary depending on class schedule)

    Salary:

    $37.00/hour

    Duties:

    Position contingent on budget approval in May and sufficient course requests.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. VALID NYS Teaching Certification for Mathematics 7-12

    2. Prior teaching experience in Algebra I, Algebra II or Geometry desired. Student teaching experience will be considered.

    3. Develop lessons and provide instruction for designated subject to students taking the course for credit recovery.

    4. Administer, score and document student work and assessments.

    5. Maintain records and conduct necessary communication with students, parents and summer school administrators.

    6. Prepare students to take associated Regents exam, if applicable to course

    7. Require Resume, Cover Letter, Three Reference Letters, Transcripts and Proof of Certification
