The role you’ll contribute:

The Director of Contracting and Compliance for the Mid-America Region performs a variety of duties relating to the preparation and review of contracts and related documents in support of legal requirements for the hospitals, medical groups, and ambulatory care companies of the Mid-America Region. In partnership with appropriate department(s), prepares, analyzes, reviews and projects business outcomes for new and renewal of contracts. With direction from Regional Chief Legal Officer, the Director is responsible for negotiating terms and conditions of contracts. The Director will prepare contracts for submission to appropriate AdventHealth Contract Review Personnel for review and approval and adheres to the company's Corporate Compliance, Tax, and Legal policies and procedures. The Director reviews all payments made to physicians to verify all are correct, compliant and supported through current executed contracts. This individual will maintain the electronic contract database and files and helps to manage the contract workflow through all areas and hospitals and medical groups of the Mid-America Region. Functions at a level of skill and knowledge that permits independent judgment and independent action. May perform other related duties as delegated. Minimal supervision required. Reports to the Regional Chief Legal Officer (CLO).

The value you’ll bring to the team:

+ Has scope over all operational and physician-related contracts for the hospitals, medical groups, and ambulatory care companies of the Mid-America Region, including but not limited to Physician Employment Contracts, Physician Services Contracts, all other professional services contracts, and vendor contacts as determined appropriate by Regional CLO.

+ Prepares and reviews contracts, terms and conditions, and other related documents for the Mid-America Region.

+ Prepares, analyzes, reviews and projects business outcomes for new and renewal of contracts

+ Evaluates contracts for opportunities to improve business terms and conditions
