Job Requirements:
The Production Team Lead position is responsible to lead all production personnel in the day-to-day operations of the plant in order to achieve a product that is on time and consistent with TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible to coordinate the day-to-day production process.
+ Able to perform all manufacturing operator, quality control operator and shipping and receiving jobs as needed.
+ Responsible to train employees and ensure they are performing adequately.
+ Able to troubleshoot manufacturing issues in order to maintain quality standards.
+ Able to assist all operators to complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and timely.
+ Stage materials for operators.
+ Responsible to conduct shift meetings.
+ Responsible to complete all needed shift audits and daily reporting.
+ Responsible to assist in general housekeeping of the department.
+ Responsible to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
+ Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
Other:
+ Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.
+ Must be able to work extended hours when required.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/ Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in manufacturing environment.
+ Team or Group lead in manufacturing environment.
+ Strong time management and priorities management skills.
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Computer literate with knowledge of Excel. BPCS experience a plus.
+ Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Basic math skills.
+ Highly motivated.
+ Metrics driven.
