As a Senior Architectural Drafter, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and developing the next generation of AutoZone retail locations across the country.     • What You’ll Do

    As a key member of our Real Estate team, you’ll:

    Design with Purpose: Create detailed, high-quality architectural drawings that bring our retail vision to life.

     

    Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work hand-in-hand with Project Managers and consulting engineers (Structural, Civil, MEP) to ensure seamless, code-compliant designs.

     

    Own the Details: Prepare site plans, fixture layouts, and bid packages that align with our brand and operational needs.

     

    Drive Efficiency: Support cost control efforts and assist in pre-construction budgeting with the Regional Preconstruction Manager.

     

    Ensure Compliance: Navigate municipal approvals and building codes with confidence and precision.

     

    Coordinate Utilities: Align utility services (electric, gas, telecom) with architectural intent.

     

    Adapt and Innovate: Manage revisions, integrate non-standard architectural features, and ensure accurate exterior signage placement.

     

    What You Bring

     

    Experience: 3+ years in an architectural design firm or similar environment.

     

    Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in architectural technology, graphic design, or engineering.

    Skills:

    Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word

     

    Strong communication and project management abilities

     

    Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for quality and innovation
