As a Wire EDM/CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for supporting operations with the upkeep and maintenance of the tooling machines, as well as build parts and equipment, weld tooling, gauges, fixtures and dies.     Pay Rate:

    _The pay rate for this job is $60,000 - $70,000 / annually*_

    What you'll be doing as a Wire EDM / CNC Machinist:

    + Set up and program machines, and ensure high-quality parts are produced efficiently and accurately

    + Supports operations by designing and building parts, equipment, weld tooling, gauges, fixtures, etc

    + Communicate with management, engineers, technicians, and production personnel

    + Assisting tool and die maintenance with troubleshooting

    + Performing routine maintenance on wire EDM and machining equipment

    + Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions

    + Reporting any necessary repairs or maintenance issues

    + Effectively utilize and influence others to accomplish objectives

    + Improves delivery of services

    + Recognizes and capitalizes on opportunities

    + Works around typical problems and obstacles to get results

    + Holds others and self-accountable

    + Looks past obvious answer to solutions

    + Seeks game changers (step function), not just incremental change

    + Can apply learning from diverse experiences to develop unique solutions

    Available shifts:

    Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day) & Weekends

    Job requirements:

    + Ability to navigate cad to make/change prints to desired models need to produce parts

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

    + Proficiency in using measuring tools and instruments

    + Ability to operate manual lathes, mills, and other manual machines

    + Demonstrated learning agility, excellent communication, and teamwork skills

    + Proficiency with CAD

    + school diploma or general education degree (GED)

    + 2 or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Travel is not required

    + Has the ability to identify and remedy customer issues before they are surfaced

    + Has the respect of internal and external customers

    + Required to crouch, or lift items as heavy as 50 lbs

    + Required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear

    + Require the employee to see with clarity at both near and far distances

    + Background check and drug screening required
