Responsibilities:

+ Cleaning, sanding, and patching surfaces (walls, ceilings, siding) to ensure proper paint adhesion

+ Removing old paint, mildew, or wallpaper as needed

+ Masking or covering furniture, floors, windows, trim, and fixtures with drop cloths or plastic

+ Taping off areas not to be painted, such as outlets, baseboards, and ceilings

+ Setting up and testing the paint sprayer for proper pressure and spray pattern

+ Cleaning and maintaining the sprayer daily to prevent clogs and ensure consistent performance

+ Mixing paints to ensure uniform color and consistency

+ Matching paint colors to customer specifications or existing surfaces

+ Applying even coats of paint using a sprayer, ensuring smooth, drip-free coverage

+ Managing overspray and working efficiently to avoid runs or patchy areas

+ Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as respirators, gloves, and coveralls

Qualifications:

+ 2+ years' verifiable experience in the trade

+ Experience with interior and exterior painting

+ Experience using spray machines

+ Tools of the trade and the ability to bring them to the jobsite, including a 5 in 1 tool and painter's whites

+ Reliable transportation to and from different jobsites

+ Background check and MVR required
