    Job Description:

    At Regions, the RAH Investor Sales and Servicing Manager is responsible for investor sales and servicing functions at Regions Affordable Housing (RAH), including meeting annual production goals for investor production.

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Serves as the main point of contact and representation of Regions Affordable Housing to the investor community, including both managing existing relationships and sourcing new ones

    + Works with the group manager of RAH and the Originations Manager, establishing and meeting annual production/revenue targets related to investor sales

    + Manages a team of Regions associates responsible for investor sales and servicing, including setting goals, managing performance, providing feedback, skill development and working with internal partners to recruit and develop talent when necessary

    + Oversees and manages RAH advisors including external brokers, legal counsel and due diligence advisors; manages and maintains contractual obligations in the context of Regions Third Party Risk Management

    + Manages a small team of professionals responsible for managing existing investor relationships and identification of prospective investors

    + Serves as the primary manager for key investor accounts, including understanding investment needs, pricing parameters, and preferred investment criteria/underwriting standards

    + Oversees standing pipeline management calls and any required reporting

    + Sources new investor relationships working with Regions’ third-party broker and other resources, occasionally articulating RAH’s go-to-market strategy and necessary changes

    + Oversees the multi-investor fund process to include aggregation of product, preparing timelines and fund marketing materials, working with counsel to draft upper tier legal documents, presenting the fund materials and key characteristics to the internal approval group, and managing the ongoing investor due diligence and closing process

    + Works with other members of the RAH senior management team, collaborating on underwriting requirements, closing priorities, and investor requirements including ongoing asset management requirements, transaction time frames, and other matters related to coordination of investor and developers’ needs

    + Serves as the primary point of contact for risk management partners, including credit officers, internal audit, and credit risk review; understanding and articulating risk management related to investors, syndication risk for individual transactions, and overall market risk

    + Manages third party risk management requirements and control requirements in Regions’ systems

    + Provides guidance about the syndication strategy informally at preliminary stages and formally at final approval

    + Manages and reports required internal metrics such as time on warehouse, projected investor closing timeframes, projected revenue and timing

    + Works with the Manager of Financial Analysis and the designated capital officer to provide quality control management for the upper tier and, as required, lower tier, financial models

     

    This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

     

    This position is incentive eligible.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field

    + Expert level understanding of the LIHTC market

    + Ten (10) years of relevant experience in the tax credit industry which may include capital markets, Originations, or housing tax credit syndication

    Preferences

    + Master's of Business Administration

    + Chartered Financial Analyst designation

    + Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

    + Series 24 license or similar

    Skills and Competencies

    + Excellent writing and verbal presentation skills

    + Experience with collaboration with other managers including advocacy and constructive conflict resolution skills

    + Experience with internal collaboration with a wide range of partners

    + Strong project management/complex transaction closing skills, including working with a wide array of advisors

    + Willingness to Travel, at times on short notice, an average of 30%

    Compensation Details

     

    Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

     

    The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

    Job Range Target:

    $215,341.00 USD

     

    _Median:_

     

    $303,548.00 USD

    Incentive Pay Plans:

    This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
