Hours: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

+ Ensure full compliance with North Carolina Division of Child Development regulations and Health Department sanitation requirements

Qualifications
+ Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. AA/AAS degree in Early Childhood or related field as defined by DHHS Division of Child Development Education unit, required.
+ Experience: Minimum of 2-year verifiable experience in a childcare center, or years of experience working with children up to 12 years of age; required.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required.
+ Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.
+ ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire (infants up to 12 months of age)of age), required.
+ Additional Skills Required:
+ DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background Letter (required renewal every 5 years), and Workforce letter (within 60 days of hire) or education verification until workforce letter is obtain.
+ Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
+ BSAC required for those working with school age children. CDL for school age if driving the buses.
+ Additional Skills Preferred: Playground Safety training.
